I am back with my another story from my past week’s tournament and I will be playing next at Zimmer Biomet Championship, a Symetra Tour event.
Another week, another tournament. This week’s stop was at the Hurricane Classic in Anna, Texas with the Women’s All-Pro Tour. It was a great course to compete on, a good test of skills.
My first and second rounds consisted of too many small mistakes and not enough birdies on the card to recover but made the cut and had the opportunity of putting two good finishing rounds together.
Round three was just that. Started the day with a birdie and kept that momentum going throughout the round, finishing the day at two under par, moving up the leaderboard going into the final round. Unfortunately my last round was a bit of a struggle. Short game and putting fell quite short, which resulted in too many bogeys and no birdies.
With all this considered, I learned quite a bit about myself and my game this week. Although the result was not up to my expectations, I saw myself moving in the right direction both on and off the course. I owe it to my Golf Coach, Noah Montgomery for helping me achieve my goals in life and as a golfer. Without his coaching, I would not be the golfer I am today and have the ability to chase my dream of becoming a top LPGA professional.
I was initially going to play in the Bravado Wireless Real Okie Championship in Oklahoma with the WAPT but received an email this morning saying I got into the Zimmer Biomet Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez in Opelika, AL with the Symetra Tour. I am looking forward to teeing it up in My second Symetra event.
