Later on April 20th, youngster Karandeep Kocchar from Chandigarh, the current money leader on the PGTI Tour also confirmed being down with Covid.
Tested Positive for COVID this morning, I have been following all protocols and have isolated myself at home. Sucks that I can’t go out there and do what I love, but already excited about getting back once I am healthy! Stay safe everyone, this virus is real!! #COVID19

Interestingly, the PGA TOUR compensates a player with a weekly allowance of US$ 10,000 if they tested positive at a tournament, given they have followed the mandatory tour protocols.
In the last couple of weeks, Lahiri has been training in Florida, with his coach Vijay Divecha, who is visiting him from Bangalore, following a 5th place finish at the Texas Open. Lahiri has made cuts in 7 of his 13 starts in the current season, amassing US$632,000 in earnings so far including two top 10 finishes.
